Majlisapproves Iran's accession to UN protocol on children rights

TEHRAN (IRNA) -- Majlis representatives on Tuesday voted in favor of a bill on Iran's accession to the United Nations' Optional Protocol on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography.

The protocol, adopted by UN General Assembly in May 25, 2000, encourages overwhelming support for the Convention on the Rights of Child and calls for continuous improvement of the situation of children without distinction
